The Location

Perched on the 46th floor of the tallest building on Sukhumvit Road, the Cielo boasts stunning architecture and breathtaking landscaping. When you book a table at the Cielo, you’ll enjoy an unmatchable experience thanks to the stylish and tasty dishes but also the panoramic view of Bangkok and the river. And, although it offers premium menus, beverage and drinks, the Cielo is an affordable restaurant and bar. Also, the outdoor terrace, which faces the sunset, offers a mind-blowing perspective over Bangkok.

The Menu

You can enjoy a wide range of international and traditional dishes at the Cielo. The menu comprises a comprehensive collection of recipes, which are created with the freshest and nutrition-rich ingredients. And the prices are affordable.

You’ll notice that the menu is also translated into English and divided into 2 sections comprising the Thai menu and the Western Menu. That’s because the restaurant attracts a huge number of tourists and foreign businessmen. If you don’t know what to order, you can always try out the chef’s selection.

As an appetizer, you could go for the Roasted Pork Ribs, Thai Spicy Sause, Pickled Carrot and Crispy Bread or try the Pomelo Salad with Coconut Powder and grilled Tiger Prawns. And as the main serving, you could taste the Stir-Fried Rice Noodle with Deep Fried Crab and Crab Meat, which come with Chinese Chives and Bean Sprouts.

But if you’re not a fan of traditional Thai food, check out the Western section of the Cielo Sky Bar menu and order an appetizer such as calamari with garlic dip or parmesan French fries.

And enjoy the main dish such as the Mediterranean Sea Bass dish, which comprises Poached Seabass with Walnut and Tomato Sauce, Roasted Tomatoes and Crispy Rice.

All the prices mentioned in the menu are subject to a service charge of 10% and a VAT of 7%. Also, the Cielo accepts credit card payments for amounts of minimum £26 (or 1,000 baht).

To experience the magic of Cielo, you should book a table for the early evening so you can take in the beautiful view of the city while the sunsets. The golden haze cast over Bangkok is second to none.

Also, another special feature of the Cielo is the Skywalk bridge which crosses the restaurant and bar. It allows you to see through the entire building, down to the swimming pool. So, if you’re not afraid of heights, and you love exciting adventures, take a walk on the wild side and cross the Skywalk bridge. You’ll be 150 meters above the ground.

Getting to the Cielo

You can reach the Cielo Sky Bar & Restaurant, which is located on Sukhumvit Road, no. 69, if you take the BTS Sukhumvit Line up to Phra Khanong Station. Get onto the 3rd exit and walk past the post office building until you reach the W District. Turn left and continue down the 7-Eleven for a couple of minutes and find the right-hand side of the building at No. 69 Sukhumvit Road.
