Virginia and North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Parkway

The Appalachian Highlands are a gem of springtime. Hidden in the Southeastern US, the Blue Ridge Parkway highway flows through pink, purple, and white blossoming trees, rolling hills, and valleys. If you are observant, you may even see wild turkeys, deer, or bears.

Plan to visit in late April or early May to see all the flowering trees in full bloom.

Texas’ Bluebonnet Trail

Texas Hill Country transforms into a beautiful blue blanket every year during spring. The Bluebonnet Trail, stretching from Austin to San Antonio, is a sight to see, as you pass miles upon miles of gorgeous bluebonnets.

Montana’s Going-to-the-Sun Road
