Series Inductors and Parallel Capacitors
Remember these laws:
- The total inductance of inductors in series is equal to the sum of their individual inductance
- The total capacitance of capacitors in series is equal to the reciprocal of the sum of the reciprocals of their individual capacitance
It didn’t take a lot of time for us to make a sense of these laws, but complex circuits were mind twisters. Inside out. Whilst, solving them lying on our couch wasn’t a great deal of effort, the panic-wrapped examination hall made the equations invincible to conquer. But, sitting across your laptop, trying to find out the logic behind the piece of code that has kept you awake from 4 nights, remembering those times, don’t you feel you are running parallel to your dreams, with a whole lot of inductors in between?
Chemistry Formulas
Oh, wasn’t it always the hardest job on planet earth to rote-learn the formulas? I wonder how some lucky souls never had to remember them, coz those fu***** could prepare them down.
Layers of Soil
If you somehow got over the full page answers, be rest assured the multi-layered diagrams could get you. Such level of intricacy did those diagrams in the textbook of 3rd grade have, it was work to choose. Icing on the cake were the unwritten rules by teachers; no matter if you had written a 300 word long answer, if you don’t get the diagram right, you are not gonna get more than 5 out of 10. Corkscrewed you are!
Mitosis/Meosis
The fact that I cleared the subject of Biology in ninth grade was up and beyond any proverbial miracle. The topic under discussion – Mitosis/Meosis – towered over everything else the Biology of that year was about. And if you asked me the very next hour after finishing the exam the definition, you bet I couldn’t muster up a line. Yet, sometimes, somewhere, i remember the two words fondly as they were a part of my glory days
Atomic Numbers
Oh, weren’t they most fascinating of all? It was one of those rare topics in Chemistry that was more played like a game rather than learn like a subject. There always was a challenge who could dole out the atomic series from… to……without faltering for a second.
